The ambitious Be the Change campaign, a collaborative tutor recruitment effort to support students in Cincinnati Public Schools, held an official kickoff on Thursday, January 12th to recruite 2,000 tutors. Multiple news stations were at the event:

Local student achievement on the rise

In her November 24th article, Jessica Brown explores highlights from the Strive Partnership's fourth annual Partnership Report, as well as areas that need much more work. David Brooks addresses the issue of national decline in his September 1, 2011 New York Times Op-Ed, "The Vigorous Virtues."
