Math Mindset Movement

We are excited to announce the Math Mindset Movement! 

It begins with a Kickoff Event on September 15th with a talk by Ms. Tracy Zager, nationally renowned author of "Becoming the Math Teacher You Wish You'd Had". The event will take place at Xavier University's Cintas Center, located at 3800 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45207 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Racism impacts academic success

A great article by Byron P. White and Jamond Coaston-Foree about Racism and the effect it has on our society and academic success of our students. In recent weeks, people all over the Cincinnati region have expressed outrage over high profile incidents of racism that have taken place at Elder and Mason high schools. These events at predominatly white schools have ranged from fans taunting visiting basketball players with racial slurs to a teacher using hurtful expressions of lynching to engage a black student.
