We welcomed administrators, a teacher and student from Winton Woods City School District to share how things are going with virtual learning during COVID-19 and where they expect things to go. They have adjusted to virtual learning and are at a place where they are achieving comfortably. Ensuring they continue to engage with parents, students and teachers through phone calls to make sure the pace is right and the amount of work is reasonable is critical. They also have a number of platforms they use with their families including ClassDojo, Google Classroom and Echo, which is for 5th and 6th grade students.
As they look past this school year, they anticipate continuing some form of virtual learning, perhaps blended learning, in the fall.
