Why are parents important in the education system? Karen Henry, Executive Director, Parents for Public Schools of Greater Cincinnati and Larry Williams, Principal at Shroder High School, were our guests to discuss this.
One of the primary purposes of Parents for Public Schools is to assure all parents have an adequate and equal opportunity to be involved in their children’s education. Shroder is a college-preparatory school that follows the Paideia method of teaching. The school offers the opportunity for parents to visit the campus to support their students. Math teachers are available to tutor parents after school hours in order to help the parents help the parents.
