Student Outcome Data

One of StrivePartnership’s primary commitments to the community is to share how children and learners in our region are progressing academically on their lifelong journey from cradle to career.

One way we provide this is by sharing data relative to six Success Outcomes Our 2017-2018 data report represents a snapshot of local education data from early childhood education through postsecondary for the urban core of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

We encourage readers to use caution when attempting to make comparisons across the data. It is not always possible to accurately compare data across districts and institutions – and sometimes year to year – due to dierent state assessments and dierent methods in which indicators are measured. The purpose of this report, and sharing data in general, is to ensure that the community generally is knowledgeable of the current state of student performance in our region and to guide our collective eorts to improve education success against these outcomes.

The data are reported in the context of outcomes and indicators. Outcomes are points along the cradle to career education continuum that are proven to be key levers that need to be moved in order to achieve the cradle to career vision and goals, with kindergarten readiness being one example. Indicators are specific measures that are being used to track progress on moving the community level outcomes, such as the percentage of children who are assessed as ready for school at kindergarten.
