Preschool investment: A 4:1 return?

A new report shows that Cincinnati might get as much as a 4:1 return on its investment in preschool.

The RAND Corporation study, released Friday morning, March 11, 2016, examined 15 full-scale preschool programs throughout the U.S. One of the programs was nationwide, 11 were state-funded and three were district-level.

Executive Director makes exit to focus full time on Preschool Promise

Greg Landsman, the executive director of the StrivePartnership, is leaving that organization to focus full time on the Preschool Promsie, an effort to make two years of quality preschool available to every three and 4-year old in Cincinnati.

Calls for universal preschool

Community members and faith leaders are launching a Peoples Platform Thursday night calling for a universal preschool.

It will be launched in a 6:30 p.m. public meeting 700-1000 people are expected to attend at Tryed Stone New Beginning Church located at 5550 Reading Rd.
