Can't Wait on State for Preschool

In response to Krista Ramsey's column, "It's Simple: Preschool Works, But It's Costly," Executive Director of the Strive Partnership, Greg Landsman, and Executive Director of United Way Success By 6, Stephanie Byrd, write a compelling article outlining the current efforts underway to help improve early childhood education experiences in our region, as well as where the gaps still exist and how we might fill them. 

"Let’s think big, and build the broadest possible coalition – from parents to educators to business people to college presidents – to develop innovative solutions to expand access to quality preschool for the low- and middle-income families who could benefit most."
